«Actually, you need to go back much further than 20 years to get anywhere near the origins of graffiti art. You have to return to prehistory. I’ve seen naughty scratchings on cave walls that are at least 20,000 years old. Give someone an opportunity to scrawl something they shouldn’t, somewhere they oughtn’t, and in my experience the blighters will always take it. For instance, that well-known vandal, Lord Byron, appears not to have felt any pangs of conscience whatsoever about incising his name on a column in the ancient Temple of Poseidon, in Attica, where you can still read it. Byron couldn’t help himself: he had to let people know he’d been there. The same goes for those notorious Renaissance vandals Michelangelo and Raphael, both of whom sneaked down into the basement of Nero’s Golden House in Rome and signed themselves on the ruins.»

A ideia é juntar todos os que não têm emprego, nem salários.
Os que se arrastam de estágio em estágio e nunca receberam subsídio de férias nem sequer de desemprego.
Os que adiam a vida na incerteza dos recibos verdes.
Os que, mesmo superqualificados, resistem a emigrar.
Os milhares de jovens que compõem a "geração sem remuneração" de que fala a música dos Deolinda, cuja letra surge transformada em canção de protesto, hino geracional, o que se lhe queira chamar.
O importante é juntar muita gente no dia 12 de Março, para mostrar que chegou o momento de dizer basta.

A Crew L apoia o protesto nacional do próximo dia 12 e divulga aqui o seu manifesto:

«Nós, desempregados, "quinhentoseuristas" e outros mal remunerados, escravos disfarçados, subcontratados, contratados a prazo, falsos trabalhadores independentes, trabalhadores intermitentes, estagiários, bolseiros, trabalhadores-estudantes, estudantes, mães, pais e filhos de Portugal.

Nós, que até agora compactuámos com esta condição, estamos aqui, hoje, para dar o nosso contributo no sentido de desencadear uma mudança qualitativa do país. Estamos aqui, hoje, porque não podemos continuar a aceitar a situação precária para a qual fomos arrastados. Estamos aqui, hoje, porque nos esforçamos diariamente para merecer um futuro digno, com estabilidade e segurança em todas as áreas da nossa vida.

Protestamos para que todos os responsáveis pela nossa actual situação de incerteza – políticos, empregadores e nós mesmos – actuem em conjunto para uma alteração rápida desta realidade, que se tornou insustentável.

Caso contrário:

a) Defrauda-se o presente, por não termos a oportunidade de concretizar o nosso potencial, bloqueando a melhoria das condições económicas e sociais do país. Desperdiçam-se as aspirações de toda uma geração, que não pode prosperar.

c) Hipoteca-se o futuro, que se vislumbra sem educação de qualidade para todos e sem reformas justas para aqueles que trabalham toda a vida. Desperdiçam-se os recursos e competências que poderiam levar o país ao sucesso económico.

Somos a geração com o maior nível de formação na história do país. Por isso, não nos deixamos abater pelo cansaço, nem pela frustração, nem pela falta de perspectivas. Acreditamos que temos os recursos e as ferramentas para dar um futuro melhor a nós mesmos e a Portugal.

Não protestamos contra as outras gerações. Apenas não estamos, nem queremos estar à espera que os problemas se resolvam. Protestamos por uma solução e queremos ser parte dela.»

Um exército de mais de 600.000 descontentes, mais aqueles milhares não contabilizados pelos números oficiais, mais ainda as respectivas famílias, mais todos os trabalhadores precários humilhados e subjugados por contratos a termo, por inexistência de contrato, a recibos verdes, por perda e ausência de direitos laborais...! Só em Portugal, um país diminuto de dez milhões de habitantes, são milhões os descontentes com razões legítimas para se revoltarem!!!

A classe dominante em Portugal bem tem razões para ter medo. Muito medo!!! Por isso ela faz uso de todos os instrumentos mediáticos. Por isso os jornais, a rádio, a televisão, todas as reportagens jornalísticas e os noticiários procuram ser anestésicos à raiva colectiva, procuram conter o vigor revolucionário da mudança, reprimir a força das massas, o sonho e o desejo legítimos de que um outro mundo é possível, uma sociedade mais justa é alcançável.

Ouvem-se os comentadores do costume, jornalistas sem dignidade, mercenários da informação, uma classe de vendidos abastados, de supostos intelectuais, de supostos técnicos em contabilidade, finanças, economia política... São escumalha trajando fato e gravata, com a presunção cínica de serem neutros quando mais não são do que mordomos da classe dominante. Manifestações?!? «Perda de tempo» dizem. Greves?!? «Não levam a nada» acrescentam. Propagandeiam a doutrina do pensamento único. Procuram impor o discurso imobilista do desânimo, do descrédito na combatividade sindical e popular.

Ouve-se a cantilena dos sacrifícios, a falácia da falta de alternativas, «é porque tem de ser assim e não há outra saída». Estes fazedores de opinião pregam a repressão dos outros, do povo, em contradição com o seu próprio alto nível de vida. Se ganhassem o salário médio nacional, já para não falar no salário mínimo, com certeza adoptariam um outro discurso. São pulgas e a classe dominante é uma cadela gorda e egoísta!!!
